Your child's report
A sample assessment report
This is what arrives in your app after Dr. Phillip Stein reviews your child's questionnaire and six guided photos. Mia is a sample child, but the level of detail is exactly what every family receives: a comment on each photo, what needs attention and why, his notes, the treatment goals and a clear next step. Yours to keep, even if no treatment is needed.

Comments by Dr. Phillip Stein · Reviewing dentist

A relaxed, symmetrical resting face in this view.

The profile suggests the lower jaw is sitting back relative to the upper face; worth monitoring as growth continues.
1 area needing attention

Crowding is visible as the adult teeth come through; the arches look short of room.
1 area needing attention

The upper arch appears narrow with limited room for incoming adult teeth.

Doctor's Notes
Overall this is a mild pattern, and that is exactly when guidance works best: crowding as the adult teeth come through, a narrow upper arch, and a lower jaw sitting a little back in profile. Starting now, while growth is on our side, gives us the gentlest path. We will confirm everything in person before anything begins.
Treatment Goals
- Guide development of the upper jaw to create room for adult teeth
- Establish a correct tongue resting position
- Monitor jaw development with regular photo reviews
Dr. Phillip Stein's recommendation
Based on these photos and your answers, I recommend further evaluation for Mia: a free phone consult with our care team to talk through the findings, then a single in-person examination where I will confirm what I have seen here and decide the right approach. Nothing is charged before that examination. At the examination I will measure the width of the upper arch and check how the jaws meet, which will guide the approach we take.
Next steps
Based on this assessment, Mia appears suitable for our program and further evaluation is recommended. The next step is a free 15-minute phone consult to talk through the findings, followed by a single in-person exam, where Dr. Phillip Stein will confirm the findings and the right approach for Mia. You can book both from your dashboard, and your care team is here for any questions along the way.
