What age is Holistic Smiles Kids for?

The program is designed for children aged 3 to 12. If your child is younger or older, you can join our waitlist during the assessment and we'll let you know when suitable options are available.

Is the assessment really free?

Yes. The online photo assessment and the dentist's review are free, with no obligation. You only pay if your child qualifies for the program and you choose to enrol.

Who reviews my child's assessment?

An AHPRA-registered dentist reviews every assessment. Because dental registration in Australia is national, your assigned Holistic Smiles dentist can care for your child wherever you live.

How long until I hear back?

Most assessments are reviewed within three business days. You'll receive an email as soon as your child's Growth & Development report is ready.

Do we ever need to visit a clinic?

The Virtual and Virtual + Myo plans are designed to be done entirely from home via telehealth. In some areas an In-Clinic option with a partner clinic may be available; if a dentist feels in-person care is more appropriate, they'll refer you with a clear note to take to a local provider.

What does the program involve day to day?

A short daily routine: wearing a soft-silicone appliance at night, a couple of myofunctional exercises, and simple nasal-hygiene habits — all guided by a friendly checklist in the app. Each week there's a 30-second check-in, and each month you submit a few guided photos.

How do payments work?

You can pay monthly over 24 months or pay in full at a discount. Afterpay and Zip are available at checkout. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, and we issue a tax invoice automatically.

Can I claim on private health insurance?

Many extras policies include cover that may apply. We provide an itemised receipt with provider numbers and item codes so you can claim directly with your fund. Cover varies between funds and policies, so check with yours.

Where is my family's data stored?

All personal and health information is stored securely in Australia. Health information is treated as sensitive information under the Australian Privacy Principles, and photos are kept in private storage that's never publicly accessible.

What appliance do you use?

Holistic Smiles uses Myobrace soft-silicone appliances from Myofunctional Research Co. Your dentist prescribes the appropriate stage and size for your child as part of the program.
