Our dentist reviews every assessment. Dental registration in Australia is national, so your assigned Holistic Smiles dentist can care for your child wherever you live.

Most assessments are reviewed within three business days. You'll receive an email as soon as your child's Growth & Development report is ready.

Every child is different, and no dental outcome can ever be guaranteed. What we can share is Dr. Phillip Stein's experience: at his dental practice, 70% of his children's early intervention orthodontic cases do not require any further orthodontic intervention. The program aims to guide growth and habits while your child is still developing, and your dentist will always give you an honest view of what they expect for your child.

The Core and Core + Myo plans are designed to be done entirely from home via telehealth. If Dr. Phillip Stein advises the expander track after the in-person exam, it follows Core pricing plus a $2,000 appliance and clinic fee, with the expander fitted and adjusted in person. If a dentist feels other in-person care is more appropriate, they'll refer you with a clear note to take to a local provider.

A short daily routine: wearing a soft-silicone appliance at night, a couple of myofunctional exercises, and simple nasal-hygiene habits, all guided by a friendly checklist in the app. Each week there's a 30-second check-in, and each month you submit a few guided photos.

You can reschedule the in-person exam any time from your dashboard with at least 48 hours' notice, free of charge. Inside 48 hours of the appointment, or if you don't attend, the $50 booking deposit is forfeited. Otherwise the deposit is refunded after the exam, or credited to your program if you enrol.

You can pay monthly over 24 months or pay in full at a discount. Payment is by card at checkout. All prices are in Australian dollars, and we issue a tax invoice automatically.

Many extras policies include cover that may apply. We provide an itemised receipt with provider numbers and item codes so you can claim directly with your fund. Cover varies between funds and policies, so check with yours.

All personal and health information is stored securely in Australia. Health information is treated as sensitive information under the Australian Privacy Principles, and photos are kept in private storage that's never publicly accessible.

Holistic Smiles uses HolisticBrace soft-silicone appliances from Myofunctional Research Co. Your dentist prescribes the appropriate stage and size for your child as part of the program.

HolisticBrace is the name we use for the soft-silicone myofunctional appliance range prescribed in our program. The appliances are made by Myofunctional Research Co, the Australian manufacturer behind the appliances many families know from Myobrace providers. Dr. Phillip Stein prescribes the specific appliance type, stage and size for your child, and reviews progress throughout the program.
